Pre-birth Assessment

In some circumstances, you may need one of our professional independent social workers to undertake a pre-birth assessment. For example, previous children may have been removed from the mother because of significant harm, or there are concerns about her ability to protect or issues regarding mental health, learning disability, domestic violence, drugs or alcohol.

Our consultants can conduct a pre-birth core assessment and complete a Pre-Birth Assessment Report, as well as any related risk assessments such as those relating to drug or alcohol misuse or learning difficulties.
